What is the procedure?
This patented procedure is very simple and effective at anti-aging the hands thanks to power packed PRP and hyaluronic acid filler.
Step 1: A small sample of your blood is taken similar to a routine lab test.
Step 2: Your blood is placed in a special centrifuge to extract the highest concentration of PRP.
Step 3: Numbing cream is placed on the hands.
Step 4: Hyaluronic acid dermal filler is injected into targeted areas.
Step 5: PRP is strategically injected into numerous areas.
Does the treatment hurt?
No. Patients feel only a pinch with the very tiny needle injections, similar to Botox injections, and are quite comfortable.
How long does this treatment take?
Numbing and PRP preparation take about 20 minutes. The treatment itself takes only 5 minutes and is entirely comfortable.
Is there downtime?
No. The hands will be swollen and somewhat red after treatment, but this should not interfere with daily activities.
What is the aftercare?
Do not wash, touch or rub the area for 6+ hours after treatment. Sauna use and vigorous exercise can be resumed in 24 hours. Anti-inflammatory medications, Advil, Motrin, ibuprofen, aspirin, corticosteroids, and anti-histamines, are to be avoided in the weeks following treatment, when possible. Tylenol may be used for any post treatment discomfort. As always, protect the rejuvenated skin on your hands from the damaging rays of the sun!
Is it safe?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid dermal filler is made to replace the hyaluronic acid your body makes naturally. It is safe and has been used for decades in aesthetic treatments. PRP is extracted from your own blood and is not shown to ever have any negative effects.
When will I see results?
Results appear immediately. Full results will be seen in 3 months.
How long do results last?
Results are shown to last for 1 year or more in many patients. This varies based on individual factors and lifestyle. Results cannot be guaranteed but all areas of medicine are raving about the effectiveness and visible results of PRP treatments.
How many treatments do I need?
1 treatment provides great anti aging results. If the aging is severe, more than 1 treatment may be desirable to achieve more results.
