What is hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating?
Excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, is a debilitating issue for some people. Sufferers are unable to wear particular clothes because the problem of excessive sweating is so obvious and embarrassing. They must bring a change of clothes to work because the hyperhidrosis is so bad that they cannot wait until the end of the day to change into dry clothes.
How can hyperhydrosis be treated?
Hyperhydrosis is a clinical issue that can be treated. Traditional approaches available include prescription drugs like Robinul, clinical strength antiperspirants, and topical aluminum chloride.

VIVACE RF MICRONEEDLING FOR EXCESSIVE SWEATING!
Radiofrequency microneedling is highly preferred for its amazing anti-aging and rejuvenating results. It is also used for the destruction of the sweat glands due the thermal tissue reaction that can be created with radiofrequency microneedling. This painless, in office procedure involves only local numbing of the underarm and a 20 minute session/s with no downtime and no recovery. This results in a decrease of functional sweat glands ending the embarrassment of excessive sweating.
Patients may require up to three procedures to achieve complete sweat resolution. Some patients will have desired result with only one treatment. This varies based on individual factors and cannot be precisely determined. Patient response to the 3 treatment series is excellent, though, so we highly recommend treatment.
Treatments are spaced 4-8 weeks apart.
How long does the treatment take?
Numbing takes around 15 minutes. The actual treatment takes only 15-20 minutes.
Yes. Vivace is safe on any skin type and is much more gentle to surrounding tissue than other brands. The microchannels close in hours. With clean aftercare, there aren’t any reported severe complications or infections.
No. The area is numbed using very tiny injections, similar to Botox injections. Then, the treatment is painless.
No. Patients can return to work or activities right away. Swimming, excessively sweaty activities and sauna use can be resumed the next day.
Simple. Don’t wash or put products on the treated are for at least 6 hours after treatment. Avoid swimming, sauna use, and excessively sweaty activities until the next day. Beyond that, resume normal hygiene and routine.
Results may appear noticeable in days or in the weeks following each treatment. Full results will be achieved after the series is completed.
This treatment produces somewhat permanent damage to sweat glands and is long lasting. Many patients find that they do not require further treatment for years – if ever.
No. Insurance does not cover this as it is considered elective and cosmetic.
