SKINCEUTICALS CRYOCORRECT PRECISION™

Age spots, sunspots, and skin tags can be more precisely removed using a targeted flow of carbon dioxide (CO2) which freezes the skin at a milder temperature than traditional cryogens like liquid nitrogen, resulting in a softer, shallower, more comfortable freeze, more likely to leave the surrounding skin intact.

CRYOCORRECT PRECISION™ TREATMENT COST:

1 spot $100

2-4 spots $200

5-10 spots $350

11-15 spots $500

The SkinCeuticals CryoCorrect PRECISION™ treatment device employs carbon dioxide cryotherapy technology to safely and effectively address skin lesions such as skin tags, actinic keratoses, sunspots, and more on the face, hands, and body. Plus, when patients integrate daily use of SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF® serum, results were even more drastic.

The CryoCorrect treatment is a non-invasive dark spot corrector and skin tag removal treatment. This treatment uses cryotechnology to gently freeze away unwanted age spots, sunspots, and skin tags from the face, hands, and body.

During treatment, the spot or skin tag is quickly frozen for 5-8 seconds. With little to no downtime and minimal discomfort, results can be seen in as little as 1 treatment.

Cryotherapy is the process of using cold temperatures to address skin health issues. Dermatologists often use cryotherapy to treat skin lesions such as skin tags and dark spots. In the past, liquid nitrogen has been used to perform cryosurgery, which freezes tissues at -231◦F.

While this technique can eliminate skin lesions, it also has the potential to harm healthy surrounding tissues. As an alternative, carbon dioxide (CO2) can be used to perform cryotherapy at a lower temperature of -108◦F. This lower temperature allows for the treatment of skin lesions, without the high risk of harming surrounding tissues.

During the CryoCorrect treatment, age spots, sunspots, and skin tags are removed using a precise flow of carbon dioxide (CO2) which freezes the skin at a milder temperature than traditional cryogens like liquid nitrogen, resulting in a softer, shallower, more comfortable freeze, more likely to leave the surrounding skin intact.

A CryoCorrect treatment can help men and women remove stubborn age spots, dark spots, skin tags, warts and sunspots that remain after completing a series of facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments. Before receiving a CryoCorrect treatment, your skincare provider will individually evaluate you to determine whether or not you are an appropriate candidate for treatment.

Each CryoCorrect treatment lasts between 5-8 seconds.

During a CryoCorrect treatment the spot or skin tag is quickly frozen and will turn the skin a dark color. This dark color may last between 3-5 days before a scab forms. The scab will slough off between 2-3 weeks, and normal healthy skin will appear. In some cases, the healing process can vary between 4-12 weeks. This does not generally interfere with daily living and patients are able to return to work and life immediately after treatment.

No. Patients are able to return to work, exercise and regular living immediately after this easy treatment.

We do suggest that patients have this treatment at least 4 weeks before any big event, important photographs and public engagements to allow plenty of time for healing.

Results can be seen in as little as 1 treatment, with healthy skin typically appearing 2-3 weeks after treatment. In some cases, the healing process varies between 4-12 weeks.

Use Phloretin CF® 1x daily on the treated area for 4 or 6 weeks. Use sun protection daily. We recommend use of SPF of 50 every day and suggest that you reapply frequently when outdoors during the day.

It is recommended to incorporate an at-home skincare regimen after CryoCorrect treatment. Applying Phloretin CF® post-treatment has been shown to significantly improve skin smoothness and general appearance of the treated area at week 1 compared to CryoCorrect CO2 alone. Follow with daily use of SkinCeuticals Sheer Physical UV Defense® SPF 50 to help protect the skin from future discoloration.

CryoCorrect treatment results can be seen in as little as 1 treatment with visible improvement in spot appearance in as early as 4 weeks. The CryoCorrect treatment has been clinically proven to be an effective dark spot corrector by completely removing age spots and sunspots. It is also effective and safe for skin tag removal.

Anyone who has moles, keratosis, skin tags, dark spots, growths or warts may benefit from this precision cryotherapy procedure.
